Tammy does such an amazing job and makes her clients feel so comfortable! Today my mom and I got or eyebrows shaped and boy are they identical! She actually makes sure that every angle is just perfect. And on top of that her personality is wonderful. Just wow! Never going anywhere else than her!

Fantastic, Comfortable Service
I have been going to Tammy for a couple of years now, and I have to say, she is just fantastic. Having such an intimate service done (Brazilian) it can be kind of UN-comfortable, but from my very first appointment, Tammy did a great job of taking away the jitters that comes with being so exposed. It is a very comfortable environment and I always feel welcome. She always takes her time and does it right the first time. I never feel rushed and I am always happy with the results. She also does a fantastic job on my eyebrows!

No One Else
I came to Tammy for my very first wax of any kind. And of course my first choice was go big or go home. So I got a Brazilian. Haha. I thought it was awful. But after living in Vancouver I moved to Portland and eventual scheduled an appointment with another waxing salon. 2 minutes into the simple bikini line wax I left and scheduled a next day appointment with Tammy before I left the apartment. What I thought was awful was actually the best treatment ever. I had nothing to compare it to until this chain salon scarred me for life basically. Tammy is amazing. I love her personality and she makes me feel so comfortable the entire time. Her room is lovely and personable. I drive almost an hour in traffic from Portland to continue seeing Tammy. Wouldn't have it any other way. She makes waxing the most comfortable it could possibly ever be. You will schedule a second appointment no doubt.

I went in for an eyebrow apt and right off that bat Tammy made me feel 100% comfortable. I would have no problem going in for other services that require less clothing. She talks to you the whole time about whatever you want and is completely open minded. Her technique is great I didn't feel a thing and she quadruple checked everything to make sure I was happy with my brows and that they were symmetrical and even. Definitely will be going back because of this experience. A+ Tammy!

Tammy Time....you love to hate it!
Quality time with Tammy is time you learn to love. She is extremely professional and very detailed in her work. She gets even the tiniest of hairs that other waxers can sometimes leave behind. You may not like her when she is doing it but you love her after. Her studio space is more sterile than a hospital. She keeps the conversation going so you are distracted when delicate areas are being tended to. After Tammy, there is no other in her field. She is the best!!!

I have been seeing a different lady and have never tried anyone else's. I can say the ability to text to make an appointment is very handy, the availability also was very convenient. I learned a lot about hair, and waxing. Very satisfied with the type if wax, cleanliness and professionalism. Professional and Thorough
I've seen Tammy twice now for Brazilian waxes. The appointments take longer than other places I've been to, but it's totally worth the extra time. The office space is well lit, beyond clean and totally private and comfortable. I've never had such a thorough wax before. Usually something is always missed....not here. "Tammy is mean!" She kept saying while I experienced my first Brazilian. She knows how to put you at complete ease, despite - what could be a pretty humiliating and painful experience. I had NO pain after, whatsoever. And she used plenty of topical aspirin, so the pain during was quick and fleeting. Great result. Will definitely be back... Thanks, Mean Tammy! ;)

First time
This was my first time ever waxing and I was nervous about the pain I see in the movies or from some other people. Tammy put me at ease and explained everything as she went along. She uses a harder wax (rather than a more common soft wax) because the soft wax rips off a tiny layer of your skin along with your hairs and is more painful and subject to mare rash. I had back. stomach, and both legs done and felt fine then and the next day. She was very professional and cautious about your sense of privacy. I will come back.

Anyone can rip your hairs out, but not everyone can care for your skin the way Tammy does. I will not go to anyone else for a Brazilian, period. I am so thankful to walk away pain-free after an appointment. Until I met her, I thought it was normal to hurt for 12 hours afterward -- not necessary!! She shows genuine care and concern for her clients' well-being, explains her procedures, and offers little tidbits on skin-care education. Office is clean and comfortable. Simply the best service, hands down.

Surprisingly enjoyable
I have been to Waxing Etc. twice now.The service is incredible, Tammy is very personable and it gets better each time. Seriously. Tammy was my first, she made me feel comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. I wasn't going to be that guy
Really. I hate serious ear hair. Nose hair you can fix yourself. Ear hair is a different animal. So here I am that guy now. Tammy took care of the first crop quite readily. Second crop was today and the "procedure" was quite a bit milder. I'd recommend Tammy to anyone who has an overgrowth of hair.

I have got my eye brows and above my lip for years. So with the information I knew I figured waxing below the belt would hurt so bad. The few people who backed the brazilian couldn't make me a believer. My friend whom I trust dearly told me that it was more uncomfortable than painful but the payoff is after. Well Tammy was my first brazilian waxing, my friends second hands down we both agreed Tammy has great skills. He attention to detail is on point. The office is inviting and relaxing. Tammy is down to earth and professional. Her talent is definitely an art. I'm hooked. I will never shave again.The end result is clean smooth skin. The hair comes back thinner and takes longer to reappear.

First time Brazilian
I have to say for having the Brazilian done for the first time is quite the experience to experience! I have heard all sorts of story from different woman that have had it done and says they either will do it again or never. I believe that I will be going back since my waxer/Esthecian did such an amazing job on telling me she is gonna pull and just is blunt and doesnt beat around the bush about the pain. I'm all for the honesty up front before I get myself into anything this painful.(I can handle pain to an extent)I totally recommend Tammy to my girlfriends/friends to go and see Tammy.

This was my first wax ever and I was quite nervous. Tammy immediately made me feel more at ease with her great sense of humor and outstanding professionalism. She kept me informed of what she was doing the entire time and made lots of great small talk to keep me "distracted" and before I knew it we were done. This was my third Brazilian wax. It was very similar to the first time I had it done. Come to find out she uses the same wax as the first place I went to. The second place was soooo painful I will never return to anyone who uses the fiberous paper to remove the wax. (OUCH) Tammie was very talkative which was very relaxing, well as relaxed as someone can be getting a Brazilian. I would definetily return. Her place was very clean and comfortable. She was very accomodating on time. I am a spur of the moment type gal and she could get me in within a half hour. I am very impressed and would recommend anyone there, including my husband.

Yup. . I am totally going to be a returning client. Tammy keeps it real through out the whole process. She does a thorough job of it with minimal irritation (come on, there is going to be some skin annoyance. We are pulling hairs out of their homes) and with amusing commentary throughout. I'd always salon bounced and never found anyone that I truly enjoyed conversing with etc. One day I needed an emergency Brazilian and all the waxers in my area were booked. I made an appt. with Tammy and have never been anywhere else since, even though it's a good 35 minute drive for me. Tammy's small waxing room is immaculate, private, and decorated relaxingly. She is the nicest person I've met in any cosmetic environment. She knows what she is doing, puts you at ease, does her job extremely thoroughly and you leave knowing your service was high quality. I recommend everyone go to Tammy, especially first timers, and those new to this form of waxing. You won't want to go anywhere else.

I came across the advertisement by accident one night on the TV while channel surfing and decided it was time to try a new waxer. I called and ended up leaving a message for Tammy, and she called back very soon. Upon my arrival I was early, but so was she, and she was very well prepared. Very friendly, professional, and took extra care to be sanitary. I was very impressed. My results 12 hours later are awesome. For someone who usually gets extremely pink and usually raw, NOT this time! Certainly will be back!

She is professional, friendly, the environment was clean and thankfully she threw away stick after each use. It was nice having someone who understood my sensitive Irish skin.
